This privacy policy explains how the Nevers Student Residence collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use the site https://www.residence-etudiante-nevers.com.

1. Data controller

The controller of personal data is the Nevers Student Residence, represented by its president OBEO Asset Management.

For any question about your personal data, you can write to zenao@obeo-residences.com.

2. Data collected

We only collect the data you voluntarily provide through the site’s forms:

• Contact form
• Viewing / studio booking request form
• Newsletter sign-up

The information collected may include: surname, first name, email address, phone number, studio wanted, desired move-in date and length, as well as any element you provide in your message.

3. Purposes of processing

Your data is used to:

• Answer your request for information, a viewing or a booking
• Build and process your tenancy file
• Send you the documents or confirmations requested
• Improve our service and the quality of our welcome

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on two legal grounds (Article 6 of the GDPR):

• Your consent, given when filling in a form
• The legitimate interest of the Nevers Student Residence in answering your requests and following up the relationship

5. Retention period

Your data is kept for three years from your last contact with the Nevers Student Residence. After that, it is deleted or anonymised, unless a legal retention obligation applies (accounting, tenancy agreement, etc.).

6. Recipients

Your data is intended solely for the internal teams of the Nevers Student Residence handling your request. It is never sold or transferred to third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (global network with points of presence in the EU). Forms are processed via a Cloudflare serverless function then delivered by the transactional email service Brevo (a French company, servers located in the EU). Any transfer outside the EU is governed by the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

7. Cookies and trackers

The Nevers Student Residence uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly European analytics solution:

• No cookies stored on your device
• No personal identifier collected
• No data shared with third parties (advertising, profiling)
• Aggregated and fully anonymised statistics

8. Your rights

Under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Right of access to the data concerning you
• Right of rectification of inaccurate data
• Right to erasure under conditions
• Right to portability of your data
• Right to object, in particular to direct marketing
• Right to restriction of processing

9. Exercising your rights

To exercise any of these rights, send your request by email to zenao@obeo-residences.com, specifying the subject of your request. We undertake to reply within one month.

10. Complaint to the CNIL

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL): cnil.fr.

11. Security

The Nevers Student Residence implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, alteration, disclosure or unauthorised access: HTTPS connection, secure hosting, restricted access to authorised staff.

12. Policy changes

This privacy policy may be amended at any time to reflect legal, technical or organisational changes. The applicable version is the one published on the site at the date of your consultation.
